The Marion County Student Assistance Program (MCSAP) is a joint effort by the participating schools, Marion County 708 Board and the people of these communities to place counselors in the school setting. Help will be offered to Kindergarten through 12th grade students. Staff is available from I CARE/MCSAP for individual and group counseling of students, consultations to school personnel, elementary/secondary parents, and youth service agencies where "at-risk" students are identified. This includes students struggling with various developmental, learning, and behavioral problems.
Regular Meetings are held with school superintendents, principals, counselors, probation officers, the county sheriff, local police, school nurses, mental health personnel, parents, and anyone interested in helping our students.
